GAS AID: Brief Introduction on technology of Injection Molding with Gas Aid The technology of injection molding with gas aid is to fill the core of plastic products with nitrogen gas by means of gas aid equipment in order to make the plastic products hollow. The technology has the following benefit: Firstly, the plastic products in a hollow state can reduce the products' weight and cut down the material cost. Secondly, it can improve the plastic products' defective states, such as sink mark, in order to make the surface of the products smooth and lessen the distortion of the products and accordingly improve the appearance quality of the products. Thirdly, it can improve the amplitude range of injection mold adjusting and increase the adjustability of the injection molding technology. Finally, it can shorten the production period and increase the output of injection mold production. The products, produced with the use of the technology of injection molding with gas aid, have been widely used, such as home appliance (e.g. TVărefrigerator, washing machine, air conditioner), auto truss, inside and outside decorations, household supplies, furniture, etc. |
